Every role gets its screens, pipeline versions you can move records onto, and safer scheduling
Sales, Service, Production and Read-only users now see the pages their permissions already allowed; publishing a new pipeline version lets you review and move open records onto it; double-booking and working-hours warnings in scheduling; signed contracts keep their signature; and dozens of fixes from design partners.
Highlights
- Non-admin roles see what their permissions allow. Sales, Service, Production, Subcontractor and Read-only users now see the module pages and record cards their company has turned on — Contacts, Tasks, Comments, Schedule, properties, trades, "Got paid" and more. Previously much of this was hidden behind an "admin only" rule.
- Pipeline versions you can move onto. When you publish a new version of a pipeline, open records stay on the version they started on — now you can review and move them onto the new version from the builder, with a dry run first, a per-record audit, and history that shows stage names from any version.
- Scheduling warns you. Assigning someone who is already booked, or outside their working hours, shows an amber notice (it never blocks saving). Deleting a customer ends its recurring schedules and cancels upcoming visits.
- Recent sort. One click puts the records you opened most recently at the top of Customers, Contacts, Opportunities and Jobs — personal to you.
- Signed contracts keep their signature on the contract page and in the downloaded PDF.
What changed
Who can see what
- Sales, Service, Production, Subcontractor and Read-only users see the module pages and record cards their company has turned on.
- The notification bell works for every role.
- Sales and Service see a customer's properties; Sales can add and edit them; Service can open customers read-only.
- Sales can create jobs. Sales, Service and Production can pick a trade when adding a job, see trade fields on an estimate, use "Add from catalog", and filter Stock and Subcontractors by trade. Add Job marks trades with no published workflow as Needs workflow; admins get a link to Workflows, everyone else is told to ask an admin.
- Sales can pick a contract template on a flat contract; "Got paid" works for Sales and Service.
- Delete a customer from its page (admins by default; grantable); the dialog spells out what gets cancelled or ended. Delete a contact from its page (Admin, Sales, Service); deleting stops the contact's sequences and any workflow email or text to them.
- Sales and Service can enroll a contact in a sequence; the Stage Progress bar renders for every role.
- A New contact button on the Contacts page (Admin, Sales, Service).
Pipeline versions
- Publishing is stricter: a pipeline with unreachable stages, a loop with no way out, or no end stage is refused with the reason.
- Creating a new version copies stage timers; stage filters and stage pickers include older-version stages that still hold records, grouped by identity even after a rename.
- Review and move open records to the current version from the builder after publishing: a dry run shows the plan, records that moved or closed in the meantime are skipped, renamed stages make the plan stale, and stage timers restart from the move. The pipelines assistant can do the same ("move open records to the current version", dry run first).
- A record's history shows stage names from any version and notes version moves.
- Opportunities keep their close date in step with their stage.
Scheduling and recurring services
- Double-booking and working-hours warnings when assigning people to an event or a recurring schedule.
- Recurring schedules have a separate Visit title and Notes; editing them updates upcoming visits.
- Deleting a customer or opportunity ends its recurring schedules and cancels every upcoming visit and appointment (past visits are kept; deleting a customer also deletes its opportunities, so the whole record can be restored together).
- Reassigning an event moves it off the previous person's schedule and Open Slots.
Lists and records
- Recent sort on Customers, Contacts, Opportunities and the Jobs list inside an opportunity. The Jobs list is otherwise newest-first (it had no fixed order).
- Contacts lists, the customer Contacts card, the opportunity contact picker and the contract signer picker load in one request — rows no longer silently disappear under load. Pickers search server-side, alphabetically, and say "showing first 100" when truncated.
- Contacts can be renamed under Settings → Record Names, like Customers and Opportunities.
- Workflows and Trades pages show real stage and field counts (both showed 0).
Contracts
- Signed contracts show the drawn signature, signer name and signed time on the contract page; Download PDF returns the signed copy, which is also attached as a document on the record.
